How to do it
Move into the stretch position slowly until you feel a gentle pull on the target muscle. Hold the stretch while breathing deeply, avoiding any bouncing or pain.
- 1Feel a gentle stretch in your triceps and along your side as you pull your elbow behind your head
- 2Keep your chest lifted and core engaged to support the stretch
- 3Hold the stretch while breathing deeply and relaxing your shoulders
Common mistakes
- Avoid pulling too hard or forcing the arm; let gravity assist
