How to do it
Sit or stand tall and let your chin drop toward your chest. Slowly roll your head in a gentle half circle from one shoulder across the front to the other, easing through each position without forcing it.
- 1A mild stretch traveling along the sides and front of the neck
- 2Shoulders staying relaxed and down as the head moves
- 3Slow, smooth motion with steady breathing
Common mistakes
- Rolling the head all the way back, which compresses the neck
- Forcing or jerking into a deeper range
- Continuing if you feel sharp pain, tingling, or dizziness
