How to do it

Sit cross-legged on the floor with each foot resting on the opposite thigh, spine tall and hands resting on your knees. Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply through your nose, letting your belly expand on each inhale and soften on each exhale.

  2. 2Feel a gentle opening through your hips and inner thighs
  3. 3Let each breath slow your pace and relax your shoulders

Common mistakes

  • Don't force your knees down or your feet into position if your hips
