How to do it

Sit in the leverage leg press with your feet shoulder-width on the platform. Release the safety, lower the platform by bending your knees, then push through your heels to extend your legs and return under control.

  1. 1Feel your quads, glutes, and hamstrings push the platform away
  2. 2Keep your lower back pressed into the seat and your knees tracking over your toes
  3. 3Press through your whole foot and control the return

Common mistakes

  • Avoid locking out your knees or letting them collapse inward
  • Don't let your hips lift off the seat
  • Avoid piling on weight at the expense of full range of motion
