How to do it
Sit in the leverage leg press with your feet shoulder-width on the platform. Release the safety, lower the platform by bending your knees, then push through your heels to extend your legs and return under control.
- 1Feel your quads, glutes, and hamstrings push the platform away
- 2Keep your lower back pressed into the seat and your knees tracking over your toes
- 3Press through your whole foot and control the return
Common mistakes
- Avoid locking out your knees or letting them collapse inward
- Don't let your hips lift off the seat
- Avoid piling on weight at the expense of full range of motion
