How to do it
Stand on the outdoor side surf platform and hold the handles with both feet on the board. Swing the platform side to side beneath you, rotating through your hips and waist while keeping your upper body steady. Control the swing in both directions for the set.
- 1Feel your obliques and hips control the side-to-side swing
- 2Keep your upper body steady while the lower half moves
- 3Brace your core to absorb and reverse each swing
Common mistakes
- Do not let the platform fling you; stay in control of the swing
- Avoid leaning your whole torso instead of rotating the hips
- Do not lose your grip or let your feet slide on the board
