How to do it

Sit on the outdoor leg press machine with your back against the pad and feet shoulder-width on the platform. Push the platform away by extending your legs, then bend your knees to return under control. Keep your lower back supported throughout.

  1. 1Feel your quads, glutes, and hamstrings push the platform away
  2. 2Keep your lower back against the pad and knees tracking over your toes
  3. 3Press through your whole foot and control the return

Common mistakes

  • Avoid locking out your knees or letting them collapse inward
  • Do not let your hips lift off the seat
