How to do it
Sit at the leverage curl machine with your upper arms resting on the pad and grip the handles. Curl the handles toward you by flexing your elbows, squeeze at the top, then lower under control.
- 1Feel an isolated contraction in your biceps as you curl the handle up
- 2Keep your upper arms pinned to the pad throughout
- 3Lower slowly to feel a stretch at the bottom without losing tension
Common mistakes
- Do not lift your elbows off the pad or swing your body
- Avoid cutting the range short; extend nearly fully each rep
- Do not let your wrists bend back to cheat the weight
Muscles worked
