How to do it

Sit in the angled leverage leg press and center one foot on the platform. Release the safeties and press the weight up with that single leg, then lower it under control until your knee reaches a comfortable depth. Finish your reps, then switch legs.

  1. 1The quad and glute of the working leg driving the platform up
  2. 2Constant tension in the leg through the full descent
  3. 3Your hips and lower back staying pressed into the seat

Common mistakes

  • Locking the knee out hard at the top
  • Letting the knee drift inward or the hip rotate
  • Pushing with your hands or resting the platform between reps
