How to do it
Stand on the foot platforms of the air walker and grip the handles for support. Let your legs swing forward and back in a smooth striding motion, keeping an upright posture as the machine moves your hips through the gait.
- 1Feel a steady rhythm through your hips, glutes, and legs as you stride
- 2Keep your core braced and shoulders relaxed over your hips
- 3Let the motion stay smooth and continuous rather than jerky
Common mistakes
- Do not slouch or hang your full weight on the handles
- Avoid letting your stride collapse short; move through a full range
- Do not let your knees snap straight and lock at the end of each swing
Muscles worked
