How to do it
Set a kettlebell in each hand and hinge forward at the hips with a flat back, letting the bells hang at arm's length. Row both kettlebells toward your hips, driving your elbows back, then lower under control while keeping your torso braced.
- 1Feel your lats and mid-back pull the kettlebells toward your hips
- 2Keep your core tight and back flat to hold the hinge
- 3Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of each rep
Common mistakes
- Avoid rounding or rotating your spine; stay square and braced
- Do not shrug your shoulders toward your ears
- Do not use momentum or stand up to heave the weight
