How to do it
Stand tall holding a kettlebell in one hand, pressed overhead with your arm extended. Bend your elbow to lower the kettlebell behind your head, keeping your upper arm vertical and close to your ear, then extend your elbow to press it back overhead. Complete your reps, then switch arms.
- 1Feel your tricep stretch as the kettlebell lowers behind your head
- 2Keep your upper arm vertical and your elbow pointing forward
- 3Squeeze the tricep to lock the arm out overhead
Common mistakes
- Avoid flaring your elbow out to the side
- Don't lean away from the working arm; stay upright
- Avoid arching your lower back; keep your core braced
