How to do it
Stand with two kettlebells between your feet, hips back and chest up. Explosively extend your hips and knees to drive both bells straight overhead in one motion, punching your hands through so the bells settle on the backs of your forearms. Lock out overhead, then guide them back down to reset.
- 1Feel your legs and hips generate force to drive both bells from floor to
- 2overhead
- 3Punch your hands up through the bells to avoid banging your wrists
- 4Lock out both arms and stack the bells over your shoulders at the top
Common mistakes
- Avoid muscling the bells up with your arms; drive with the hips
- Don't round your back; hinge at the hips on the descent
- Avoid letting the bells flip over and crash onto your wrists
