How to do it
Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat, then lift your hips into a glute bridge. Holding the bridge position, take small steps to walk your feet out away from you and back in, keeping your hips high the whole time.
- 1Keep your hips lifted and feel your glutes fire to hold the bridge
- 2Stay tall through the hips as you step the feet out and in
- 3Brace your core so your pelvis stays level the whole time
Common mistakes
- Don't let your hips drop as you walk the feet
- Avoid arching your lower back to hold the height
- Don't let your knees fall inward or outward as you step
Muscles worked
The glute bridge walk mainly works the glutes and hamstrings, with the lower abs, lower back, and quads assisting.
