How to do it
Stand in a short lunge stance with your front foot flat on the floor. Keeping the front heel planted, drive your knee forward over your toes to load the ankle, then return and repeat, rocking the knee forward and back to mobilize the joint.
- 1A stretch through the back of the ankle and lower calf
- 2Your front heel staying glued to the floor
- 3The knee tracking forward over the middle toes
Common mistakes
- Letting the heel lift as the knee travels forward
