How to do it
Stand tall and drive one knee up toward your chest while pumping the opposite arm, as if celebrating a win. Quickly switch and drive the other knee up, keeping a light bounce on the balls of your feet. Keep a steady, upbeat rhythm and stay tall through your torso.
- 1Feel your hip flexors snap each knee up toward your chest
- 2Stay light on the balls of your feet with a quick rhythm
- 3Keep your core braced and your torso tall as you drive
Common mistakes
- Do not hunch forward to meet your knee
- Avoid landing heavy and flat-footed
- Do not let your lower back round as you lift the knee
