How to do it
Attach a twin neutral-grip handle to the high cable and sit facing the column with your thighs secured. Grip both handles with palms facing each other and pull them down toward your upper chest, driving your elbows down and squeezing your shoulder blades. Control the bar back up to a full stretch.
- 1Feel your lats pull the handles down toward your chest
- 2Keep your elbows tucked and your shoulders down for lat tension
- 3Squeeze at the bottom and control the release to a full stretch
Common mistakes
- Avoid leaning back excessively or swinging for momentum
- Do not let your shoulders shrug up; keep them depressed
- Avoid pulling with your arms alone; lead with your back
