How to do it

Attach an ankle cuff to a low cable and strap it to your working ankle. Face away from the machine and hold the frame for balance. Drive your knee up and forward against the cable, lifting your thigh toward hip height, then lower with control and repeat before switching legs.

  1. 1Feel the front of your hip and lower abs pull your knee up
  2. 2Stand tall and keep your standing leg steady
  3. 3Control the cable back down rather than letting it drop

Common mistakes

  • Don't lean back or arch your lower back to lift higher
  • Don't swing the leg up with momentum
  • Don't let the stack slam at the bottom
