How to do it

Sit facing away from a high cable pulley with a rope or handle overhead. Keep your upper arms next to your head and extend your elbows to press the cable up and forward until your arms are straight. Lower under control back behind your head and repeat.

Common mistakes

  • Letting your elbows flare wide or drop forward
  • Using your shoulders or torso to push the weight
