How to do it

Sit at a cable row station with the pulley set high and attach a V-bar. Grip the bar with palms facing each other, arms extended toward the stack, and row it toward your upper chest by driving your elbows down and back. Return to a full stretch with control.

  1. 1Lats and middle traps pulling your elbows down and back
  2. 2Shoulder blades squeezing together at the finish
  3. 3A full stretch through the lats as the bar travels away

Common mistakes

  • Leaning back hard to drag the weight in
  • Shrugging your shoulders up toward your ears
  • Cutting the stretch short at the front
