How to do it

Attach a rope to a high pulley, face away from the machine, and step forward into a split stance. Hold the rope behind your head with elbows bent and pointing up, then extend your arms overhead until they lock out. Lower under control, keeping your elbows close to your head.

  1. 1Triceps stretching at the bottom and contracting as you extend
  2. 2Elbows staying close to your head and pointing forward
  3. 3A firm squeeze as you split the rope ends apart at lockout

Common mistakes
