How to do it
Stand tall with a small bounce in your knees, staying light on the balls of your feet. Lift one foot and trace a circle in the air with your toe while keeping a steady springy rhythm on your standing leg. Switch directions and legs to keep your hips and ankles loose and warm.
- 1A light, springy bounce through your ankles and calves
- 2Your standing leg staying stable as the other foot draws the circle
- 3Loose, mobile hips and ankles moving freely
Common mistakes
- Don't lock your knees or land heavily on flat feet
- Avoid rushing the circle and losing your balance
- Don't tense your shoulders; stay relaxed and bouncy
