How to do it

Skip in place or forward, driving one knee up while pushing off the ball of the opposite foot. Stay light on your feet, swing your arms in rhythm, and land softly with each bounce.

  1. 1Feel the calves and feet spring you off the ground
  2. 2Drive the knee up tall on each skip
  3. 3Stay light and bouncy through the ankles

Common mistakes

  • Don't land flat or heavy on your heels
  • Avoid hunching; keep the chest tall
  • Don't let the knees collapse inward on landing
