How to do it
Lie on your side and cross your top leg over in front of the bottom leg so it rests flat on the floor. Keep the bottom leg straight and lift it up toward the ceiling, squeezing the inner thigh, then lower with control.
- 1Feel the inner thigh of the bottom leg doing the lift
- 2Keep your core braced and hips stacked
- 3Lower the leg slowly to keep tension on the adductors
Common mistakes
- Don't roll your hips back to make the lift easier
- Avoid using momentum; lift with the inner thigh
- Don't bend the bottom knee to cheat the range
