How to do it

Sit back into the recumbent bike with your back supported and feet on the pedals out in front of you. Pedal at a steady cadence for a set time, adjusting resistance to keep your legs working through a low-impact cardio effort.

  1. 1Quads, hamstrings, and glutes driving each pedal stroke
  2. 2Back supported and relaxed against the seat
  3. 3Steady cadence with even breathing

Common mistakes

  • Letting your knees cave in or out as you pedal
  • Pointing your toes instead of driving through the foot
  • Setting resistance so high your form breaks down
