How to do it

Anchor a resistance band high overhead and grip the free end with both hands behind your head, elbows bent and pointing up. Brace your core and extend your arms straight overhead against the band, then bend your elbows under control to return to the stretched position.

  1. 1Feel your triceps stretch at the bottom and contract hard as you
  2. 2straighten your arms
  3. 3Keep your elbows high and pointing forward throughout
  4. 4Hold your ribs down and core tight so your lower back stays neutral

Common mistakes

  • Don't let your elbows flare wide as you extend
  • Don't arch your lower back to finish the rep
