How to do it

Anchor a resistance band in front of you at chest height and grip the handles with your hands set close together. Row the band toward your stomach by driving your elbows straight back and close to your sides, squeezing your lats, then return under control.

Common mistakes

  • Shrugging or letting your shoulders round forward
  • Jerking the band or bouncing at the top
  • Leaning back to use bodyweight instead of your back
