How to do it

Stand in the center and perform a curtsy lunge by stepping one leg diagonally behind the other, lowering until both knees are bent. Drive back to the center, then repeat the curtsy toward each of the four corners in sequence, alternating legs as you rotate around. Keep your chest up and your hips square as you reach each corner.

  1. 1Feel your glutes and outer hip stretch and load as you cross one leg
  2. 2behind the other
  3. 3Keep your chest up and drive through the front heel to return to center
  4. 4Feel your core stabilizing your hips as you change directions

Common mistakes

  • Don't let your front knee cave inward as you lower
  • Avoid leaning your torso to one side; stay tall and square
  • Don't rush the corners; control each curtsy down and up
