How to do it

Start standing, hinge at the hips, and walk your hands forward until you're in a plank position. Hold briefly, then walk your hands back to standing and repeat.

  1. 1Hinge at the hips and feel a stretch in your hamstrings as you walk your hands forward
  2. 2Engage your core and shoulders as you hold a plank at the farthest point
  3. 3Maintain control as you walk back to the start position

Common mistakes

  • Don't let your hips drop as you walk out
  • Avoid locking your knees during the hinge
  • Don't rush, move slowly and deliberately
