How to do it
Sit balanced on your tailbone with your torso leaned back and legs lifted into a V shape. Reach up and tap your toes, then lower your torso and legs slightly before crunching back up to tap again. Keep tension on your abs throughout.
- 1Feel your abs squeeze as you fold up to tap your toes
- 2Balance on your tailbone and keep your chest tall, not rounded
- 3Lower slowly to keep constant tension on your core
Common mistakes
- Don't yank your neck or lead with your head to reach the toes
- Avoid letting your lower back collapse and round at the bottom
- Don't use momentum to bounce up; control each rep
Muscles worked
