How to do it

Stay in a low athletic stance and shuffle side to side. As you shuffle, throw alternating cross punches, rotating through your trunk with each strike to add a twist to the movement.

  1. 1Obliques rotating the trunk into every punch
  2. 2Legs staying low and springy through the shuffle
  3. 3Shoulders snapping each punch across the body

Common mistakes

  • Standing tall and losing the athletic stance
  • Punching with only the arm and no trunk rotation
  • Crossing your feet during the shuffle
