How to do it
Lie on your back with your legs straight out on the floor and arms extended overhead. Sit all the way up and reach forward to tap your toes, keeping your legs straight, then lower back down with control.
- 1Your abs pulling your torso up off the floor
- 2A controlled lower rather than dropping flat
- 3Legs staying long and pinned to the floor as you reach
Common mistakes
- Yanking with your arms or neck to swing up
- Letting your legs lift or bend to make the situp easier
- Crashing your back down between reps
