How to do it
Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart. Lift one knee across your body while reaching the opposite hand down to tap it, then return to standing and alternate sides at a steady pace. Keep your core engaged as you rotate and balance on the standing leg.
- 1Feel your obliques crunch as your hand reaches across to the opposite
- 2knee
- 3Stay balanced on the standing leg through each rep
- 4Keep a steady rhythm and squeeze the core on every touch
Common mistakes
- Do not just bend forward; rotate through the trunk to meet hand and knee
- Avoid rounding the upper back; stay tall as you crunch
- Do not rush so fast that you lose your balance
