How to do it

Load the hack squat sled, set your shoulders under the pads, and place your feet on the platform. Lower into a deep squat by bending your knees, then drive through your heels to push the sled back up while keeping your back against the pad.

Common mistakes

  • Letting your knees cave in as you descend
  • Rounding your back or lifting your hips off the pad
  • Bouncing out of the bottom instead of controlling it
