How to do it
Sit tall on a chair and lean back slightly with hands behind your head. Bring one knee up and rotate the opposite elbow toward it, then switch sides in a pedaling motion, alternating elbow to opposite knee.
- 1Feel your obliques crunch as you bring elbow to opposite knee
- 2Drive the rotation from your core, not your arms
- 3Keep a steady pedaling rhythm with control
Common mistakes
- Don't yank on your head or neck with your hands
- Don't slouch or round through the spine
- Don't rush; control each twist
