How to do it

Set up in a side plank on your forearm with your body in a straight line and hips lifted. Drive your top knee up toward your chest, then extend it back out to the start, keeping the hips high throughout the reps.

  1. 1Feel your obliques work to keep the hips lifted
  2. 2Feel the hip flexor pull the top knee toward your chest
  3. 3Keep your bottom shoulder stacked over the elbow

Common mistakes

  • Don't let your hips drop toward the floor
  • Avoid rotating your torso forward as the knee drives
  • Don't let the supporting shoulder collapse
