How to do it
Sit on the floor with your hands behind you for support and lean your torso back slightly, lifting your feet off the ground. Pull your knees in toward your chest, then extend your legs straight back out without letting your heels touch the floor. Keep your core braced throughout.
- 1Feel your lower abs work as you pull the knees in and extend out
- 2Keep your torso leaned back and core braced
- 3Move smoothly without letting your feet touch down
Common mistakes
- Avoid rounding forward to meet your knees
- Don't let your lower back collapse as the legs extend
- Avoid rushing; control both directions
