How to do it
Move into the stretch position slowly until you feel a gentle pull on the target muscle. Hold the stretch while breathing deeply, avoiding any bouncing or pain.
- 1Feel a stretch across your chest, shoulders, and hip flexors as you twist your body
- 2Keep your upper body grounded while reaching one leg behind you
- 3Breathe deeply and relax into the stretch
Common mistakes
- Avoid forcing the twist; move slowly and gently
- Don't let your shoulder lift off the floor
