How to do it

Grip a pair of rings and extend your body into a forward-leaning plank with arms reaching out ahead of you. Hold this extended position with the rings stable, fighting to keep your hips from sagging, for the prescribed time.

  1. 1Feel your entire core brace hard to hold the extended position
  2. 2Keep the rings steady and your body in one straight line
  3. 3Press the shoulders down and away to stay supported

Common mistakes

  • Avoid letting your hips sag toward the floor
  • Do not let the rings drift or wobble out of control
  • Avoid holding your breath; breathe steadily through the hold
