How to do it
Position yourself face down on the floor, supporting your body on your forearms and toes. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels, engage your core and hold the position.
- 1Start in a reverse plank with hips lifted and reach one hand toward the opposite foot, feeling your hamstrings and core engage
- 2Keep your hips high and your chest open while alternating sides
- 3You should feel balance and flexibility work together as you control each touch
Common mistakes
- Don't let your hips drop or your shoulders slump forward
- Avoid rushing the touches or using momentum to swing your leg
- Don't strain your neck; keep your gaze neutral and your movements smooth
Muscles worked
