How to do it
Lie on your back and hook a resistance band around the soles of both feet, holding the ends near your hips with knees bent toward your chest. Press your feet away by extending your knees and hips against the band until your legs are nearly straight, then bend back to the start with control. Keep your lower back flat on the floor throughout.
- 1Your quads and glutes pushing the band away
- 2Your lower back pressed into the floor
- 3Even tension on the band as you bend back in
Common mistakes
- Locking your knees out hard at the end
- Letting your knees cave inward under the band
- Lifting your hips off the floor to press
