How to do it
Stand tall in an athletic stance. Step forward with one foot and throw a punch with the opposite arm in time with the step, then bring the foot back and repeat on the other side at a brisk, rhythmic pace.
- 1Feel your core rotate to drive each punch from the hips
- 2Stay light on your feet and ready to move
- 3Keep a steady, athletic rhythm between step and punch
Common mistakes
- Don't overreach the step and lose your balance
- Avoid swinging the arms loosely without core engagement
- Don't let your posture slump as you tire
