How to do it
Sink into a quarter to half squat with your arms back, then explode straight up as high as you can, swinging your arms overhead. Land softly with bent knees, reset, and repeat with full effort each jump.
- 1Load your glutes and quads, then drive hard through the floor
- 2Use your arm swing to add height to the jump
- 3Land soft on the balls of your feet and absorb through your knees
Common mistakes
- Don't land with stiff or locked legs
- Avoid letting your knees collapse inward on landing
- Don't rush the next rep before you've stuck the landing
