How to do it

Attach a strap or handles to a loaded sled and face away from it. Walk forward, dragging the sled behind you, driving hard through the balls of your feet and your quads with each step. Keep a steady, powerful pace for the set distance.

  1. 1Your quads driving hard with every forward step
  2. 2Constant tension from the sled as you push forward
  3. 3A tall chest and braced core throughout the drag

Common mistakes

  • Leaning too far forward and losing your drive
  • Taking choppy steps instead of full, powerful strides
  • Letting the pace drop and the tension go slack
