How to do it

Start in a high plank with your body straight and core braced. Tap one foot out to the side and back, then the other, keeping your hips as still as possible. Continue alternating sides at a steady pace.

  1. 1Core and obliques fighting to keep your hips level
  2. 2Shoulders bracing over your wrists to support each tap
  3. 3Glutes staying tight to hold the plank line

Common mistakes

  • Letting your hips rock or rotate as you tap
  • Piking your hips up to make the taps easier
  • Letting your shoulders drift behind your hands
