How to do it

Lie on your back with your legs extended straight up toward the ceiling and your lower back pressed into the floor. Lower one leg toward the ground while keeping the other up, then switch in a controlled scissoring motion.

  2. 2Press your lower back flat into the floor throughout
  3. 3Move the legs slowly and with control

Common mistakes

  • Do not let your lower back arch off the floor
  • Avoid swinging the legs with momentum
