How to do it
Lie on your back with your legs extended and arms reaching overhead. Crunch up by curling your torso while drawing both knees toward your chest, tap your knees with your hands at the top, then extend back out long without letting your feet touch down.
- 1Your abs crunching hard as your knees and chest meet
- 2Your lower abs pulling your knees in
- 3Constant tension as you extend long without resting on the floor
Common mistakes
- Yanking your head or neck forward to fold up
- Letting your feet drop to the floor between reps
- Using momentum instead of controlling both ends of the motion
Muscles worked
