How to do it
Lie on your back with your legs raised and knees bent over your hips. Reach up and tap one toe with the opposite hand, then the other, then reach for both toes together in a full crunch. Keep your lower back pressed down and curl your shoulders off the floor on each tap. Move through the single-single-double pattern under control.
- 1Your abs crunching your shoulders up toward your toes
- 2Your obliques working on the single-side taps
- 3Constant tension on the front of your core
Common mistakes
- Flinging your arms instead of crunching to reach
- Letting your head drop back between reps
- Arching your lower back off the floor
