How to do it
Lie on your back with the soles of your feet pressed together and your knees dropped open to the sides in a frog position. Place your hands behind your head or reach toward your feet, then curl your upper back off the floor in a crunch. Squeeze your abs at the top and lower under control.
- 1Feel your upper abs contract as you curl your shoulders off the floor
- 2Keep your knees relaxed open and lower back gently pressed down
- 3Exhale and squeeze at the top of each crunch

- Don't pull on your neck with your hands
- Avoid using momentum to bounce up
- Don't let your lower back arch off the floor
