How to do it
Lie on your back with both legs raised toward the ceiling. Crunch up and reach one hand across to tap the floor outside the opposite hip, then lower and repeat to the other side. Alternate sides while keeping your legs lifted.
- 1Feel your obliques twist and your abs crunch as you reach across
- 2Keep your legs raised and steady so the work stays in your core
- 3Lower under control between taps to keep constant ab tension
Common mistakes
- Don't pull on your neck to lift your shoulder off the floor
- Avoid letting your legs swing or drop to gain momentum
- Don't rush; rotate with control rather than flinging the arm
Muscles worked
