How to do it
Hold a low forearm plank with your elbows under your shoulders and your body in a straight line. Keeping your hips level, lift one leg a few inches off the floor, pause, then lower it and alternate sides without rotating your torso.

Common mistakes
- Letting your lower back arch or hips twist as you lift
